Anne Haddad is a nonprofit leader and consultant with more than 25 years of experience guiding organizations through transition, strengthening development systems, and building leadership capacity. She brings deep expertise as both staff and consultant to nonprofits and foundations, including roles in strategy, program design, grantmaking, and financial oversight.
Anne has served in multiple interim roles including Interim Executive Director and Interim Development Director roles. As Sharing Our Roots Interim Executive Director, she led the organization through growth, financial restructuring, fundraising expansion, and multicultural team alignment. She is known for her calm, steady leadership and her ability to bring joy, humor, and positivity into challenging moments, helping teams feel grounded, connected, and supported through change. Over her career, Anne has supported more than 70 nonprofits and foundations, leading major fundraising initiatives and successful capital campaigns. A skilled trainer and presenter, she designs practical, data-informed development systems and mentors boards and staff to become confident, effective fundraisers. Anne loves fundraising deeply, and her enthusiasm is contagious—teams consistently report feeling more energized and excited to raise money with her by their side.
Anne is also highly experienced in recruiting and talent development, leading executive and development director searches, designing onboarding and evaluation frameworks, and coaching emerging leaders. Earlier in her career, she directed grantmaking at Ceres Trust and built high-performing development programs at Girls on the Run MN and MN Alliance for Progressive Action.
She holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and a BA from Gustavus Adolphus College.
