Michelle offers valuable insights through her extensive skillset and experience in organizational planning, operational efficiency, project management, and IT systems for nonprofit and for-profit organizations. She holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from St. Catherine University where she received an award for outstanding research for her graduate capstone project in nonprofit strategic planning and co-leadership models. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver.
Michelle’s experience includes leading strategic planning initiatives for multiple organizations with Propel Nonprofits, an operational efficiency assessment and planning process for the Minnesota Alliance for Volunteer Advancement, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives at Deluxe Corporation. She leads with purpose, transparency, and a deep respect for people and mission through a collaborative, optimistic, and values-driven approach that brings people together to achieve greater impact.
Throughout Michelle’s career she has demonstrated a commitment to social impact in her workplace, church, and community. She served on the Deluxe Foundation grants committee and was an inaugural member of the Deluxe Twin Cities Volunteer Council. She is actively involved in youth ministries at her church, the Polar Plunge for Minnesota Special Olympics, Soles4Souls, and several church-community partnerships helping people in poverty both locally and internationally. She is in her second term serving on the board and finance committee for the Minnesota Alliance for Volunteer Advancement.
