With experience spanning state government, nonprofit, and for-profit organizations, Soniya Coutinho brings project management, collaborative partnership and facilitation, strategic planning, and public health skills and experience to Mighty Consulting. Soniya graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor’s degree from Macalester College and received her Master of Public Health degree from The George Washington University Milken Institute of Public Health. She has over seven years of experience in the field of public health, primarily in the areas of mental health and substance use.

Soniya has previously worked at the Minnesota Department of Health, Family Tree Clinic, and Medicaid Health Plans of America. She also serves as the Communications Lead for ReDelicious DC, an organization aimed at reducing food waste and building community. Soniya was born and raised in Minnesota, but is currently based in Washington D.C.
