Wes Little is an experienced executive coach and business consultant with a focus on Human Resources and leadership effectiveness. Since 2011, he has partnered with leaders in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations to strengthen leadership impact, navigate complex organizational challenges, and build healthy, sustainable workplaces.
Wes’s consulting work spans the full range of Human Resources practice, including HR policy development, employee handbook creation, and employment law compliance. He is skilled at translating complex regulatory requirements into practical, accessible guidance that leaders can apply with confidence.
Wes often describes his consulting approach as being on a continuum somewhere between your therapist and your lawyer—combining empathy, discretion, and strong listening skills with structured, risk-aware guidance grounded in HR best practices. This balanced approach enables him to support leaders through sensitive people issues while also helping organizations manage risk and make sound, defensible decisions.
In addition to his consulting work, Wes has held Human Resources leadership roles at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Medtronic, and State Farm Insurance.
Wes earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Marketing from St. Cloud State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resources from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota.
